When I first started blogging, back in high school, blogging was a relatively new concept. I followed a handful of pattern writers, crafters, and eventually mom blogs and similar through Blogger. I wrote a few dozen posts for each new reiteration of the blog before giving up and moving on.
One of the things that has followed me through my blogging history is my gnomes. They're cute little buggers, and I love their jolly little smiles and fierce protection of their territory, so I even had a blog titled "Gnomes Ate My Homework" that I wrote on during college. There are still more than a few of my early crochet patterns there.
Now, though, gnomes take a more active role on my artwork than in my writing. And I've been working on some new gnomes for my shop, and for my consignment venues.
